As many staff may be aware, the final stage of the Trust’s Leadership Capacity Review has recently commenced and will provide a full review of the structures within our Corporate teams. To help deliver this important review, we would like to invite expressions of interest from any member of staff for the following short-term (3 month) secondment opportunities: Project Manager: Under direction from the Chief Financial Officer, the Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall co-ordination of this review. The project manager will use their skills to ensure that this review is delivered in an effective way, and is managed consistently across Corporate teams. The project manager will work closely with all members of the Trust executive team, providing detailed analysis and reports where needed, and will liaise with a range of senior staff to ensure the project can be delivered by the end of September 2020. Applicants for this role will be expected second from a current role that is Band 7 or above, and preference will be given to applicants demonstrating previous experience of project management, managing change and working with stakeholders at various levels across the Trust. Project Support Officer: Under direction from the Project Manager, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to this review. This support may take a variety of forms including minute taking, follow up of action plans, analysis of data and diary management. The Project Support Officer will use their skills to ensure that this review is co-ordinated in an effective way, and is managed consistently across Corporate teams. Applicants for this role will be expected to second from a current role that is Band 4 or above.These secondment opportunities present a is a unique opportunity and the successful secondees will work on a high profile, sensitive and important project. The successful individuals for both these roles will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent verbal and written communication and persuasive skills, be highly organised and have the ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles presented to them.Applications for each of these three-month secondment roles are welcome from any member of staff within the Trust, and interviews will likely be arranged for Monday 13th July, with secondments into these positions commencing as soon as possible after this date. Both roles are likely to require a time commitment of 3 days (22.5 hours) per week and will be cross site.
