The RoleThe Office Manager will support the Speaker’s Office by overseeing all administrative activities required to facilitate the smooth running of the Speaker’s Office. The Office Manager will take responsibility for customer service as customer lead for the office and will represent the Speaker’s Office in the Customer Centre of Excellence.The Office Manager will lead on moves and ensure the office is prepared for decant.The Speaker’s Office is a very busy environment and this role will occasionally require the flexibility to work beyond core business hours. On such occasions, the flexitime policy will apply.The PersonThe successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of colleagues at all levels and influence a range of stakeholders. Willing to challenge and persuade where appropriate.The ability to work under pressure and autonomously prioritising work to meet deadlines.
